i2m Soft Sensors
i2m soft sensors are designed for manufacturing and process industry.
The soft sensors calculate and predict target parameters if specific HW sensors are expensive, or no sensor might be available for the measurement task. Application areas range from the optimization of production processes to the quality management of products. The soft sensors use mathematical models (e.g. statistical, frugal) to derive the required parameters in real time from simpler or less expensive signals from existing hardware sensors.
